Like most other regions across the globe, the amusement and attraction sector in Argentina is firmly locked down.

Argentina

President Fernandez has announced a state of emergency and safeguards have been put in place, which protect employees from redundancy for 60 days in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Many of Argentina’s approximately 200 locations including amusement parks, FECs, cinemas and other entertainment centres had voluntarily closed prior to any official restrictions.

Despite the measures put in place by the government, there are however fears among some of the 45 entertainment companies in the country that they and their 15,000 employees will approach bankruptcy before the lockdown is lifted.
