Arcades close as Belgium enters lockdown

Belgium has followed the lead of its neighbour, the Netherlands, in closing all arcades, FECs and theme parks in face of Covid-19 variant Omicron.

Schoolchildren are under a stay-at-home order, along with their parents who must work from home.

One Belgian operator told InterGame: “The Christmas holidays are good for arcades. The new year has not started well for the industry.”
