Following a strong trend for retro arcade-bars in the US, a new one has opened in Syracuse, New York, named Three Lives. Most of its games come from the 1980s and 1990s.

Owner John Page has his games mostly on 25-cent play and he has also installed Xbox and Playstation consoles which are on offer at $10 per hour, plus facilities for sports betting.

He hopes to run leagues and tournaments on some of the facilities in the future. The location provides a bar and a restaurant with a food menu containing items with games-themed dishes.

The current pandemic situation means that the location has some restrictions, including masks while standing and the arcade games have been separated to keep players apart.
