Leading Middle East FEC operator Al Hokair Group has signed an exclusive agreement with Moonbug Entertainment to open Cocomelon FECs across the region.
Al Hokair is the largest operator of FECs in the Middle East and only two weeks ago announced an exclusive agreement with Dave & Buster’s to open a string of venues across Saudi Arabia.
Moonbug Entertainment is an award-winning global entertainment company behind some of the most popular kids’ titles. Moonbug’s shows are on more than 150 platforms globally, featuring popular characters like Cocomelon and Blippi. The company aims to be a natural part of every child’s upbringing, regardless of geography, culture or background. By inspiring and engaging children with fun and responsible storytelling, Moonbug encourages kindness, compassion and resilience in the next generation, says the company.
Cocomelon is a family YouTube channel with over 100 million subscribers, dedicated to pre-schoolers.
The two companies, said Al Hokair Entertainment general manager Mohamed Attia (pictured), plan to open a series of Cocomelon outlets across the Middle East. “Moonbug is a promising entertainment brand that has achieved remarkable success,” he said. “We are working to enhance our portfolio and maintain our leadership position in the industry.”
