Activate, a new interactive entertainment experience is to open in Dubai, UAE, on September 18.
The new experience by Canadian gaming company, Activate Games, fuses gaming and fitness. The facility will open its doors at City Centre Mirdif.
It will feature nine dynamic game rooms where the interactive elements challenge players in real time. The rooms cater to five players and are all designed to test physical and mental agility. Players can expect to jump, climb, dodge and problem-solve through 50 different games, including the viral hit, Mega Grid.
Other games blending digital and physical activities include Hoops, Strike, Portals, Press, Hide and Control. The rooms are suitable for anyone over the age of six, and there are 10 difficulty levels ranging from easy to extreme.
