Set in 250 acres close to the city of Sheffield, the park follows in the footsteps in three others in the series: Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes, Gulliver’s Kingdom at Matlock Bath and Gulliver’s World in Warrington.

The first phase of the park is set to open on July 11 and will contain a Lost World with huge dinosaurs and a thrill ride, Pterosaur Turmoil, three-slide water ride named T-Rex and a Lost World River Tour.

Another section will be named Toyland and includes a ferris wheel and several other rides, plus diggers that can be controlled by children. There will be a Wild West World with cowboy-themed attractions and an indoor section with climbing walls, inflatable rides, carousel and games.

There is also a 28-room hotel and a function room plus facilities for evening entertainment.

A number of safety measures have implemented within the park in response to the pandemic.
