From 2014 the major Japanese amusement machine manufacturer Namco Bandai has a change of name – to Bandai Namco – and a suitable reversal of names on its logo.
The change was announced by Satoshi Oshita, president and CEO of Namco Bandai Games, during the IAAPA trade show in Orlando, Florida, where the company hosted a reception to announce the changes.
Oshita told the assembled guests that the change would reflect the fact that the company not only supplies games but has a strong product line in the toys industry. He said that the group strength would be used with the new name to identify and further expand the business.
