Family entertainment centres need to be exciting, immersive worlds that combine both an enticing environment and games that deliver entertaining experiences – above all, they need to provide a compelling reason to leave the home

PARAGON Creative, the design and build division of attractions development company Paragon Entertainment, has been creating immersive themed environments for a host of locations for more than 25 years. From its 80,000sq.ft workshop in York, UK, the company has completed more than 1,000 projects in over 26 countries.

“The in-house design and development team means that we can take on a project from design to build and install, ensuring that we can provide a full turnkey attraction fit-out service for all our clients,” said Paragon Creative’s Jonathan Bonner. “More and more of our clients are finding that a combined package from one supplier offers substantial cost and time savings, which is especially beneficial on fast-track projects.”

In addition to its design and build services, Paragon recently launched a licensing division. The aim is to develop attraction concepts based on existing brands and products that are then licensed to third-party operators within the leisure industry. The company has a portfolio of five concepts, including The Nerf Arena, an active play experience based on the world-renowned brand, and Hilo Challenge Dome, an all-weather ropes course attraction.

“Utilising our visitor attraction design and build expertise,” said Bonner, “we work closely with our clients to develop an attraction experience that is tailored to their existing venue or a standalone attraction, with the aim to create a strong leisure offering and increase visitor footfall and annual revenue.”
