AS the land-based and online gaming sectors converge, are there new opportunities to leverage strong gaming arcade brands in the i-gaming sector?

Countries such as the UK and Belgium have already seen several land-based operators take their brands online, while the introduction of online gaming in the Netherlands is likely to see arcades do the same there. It is a model that can surely be repeated elsewhere and, given the popularity of internet gaming, the question is whether bricks and mortar businesses can afford not to make the move online.
