Inspiring success

INSPIRED Gaming’s UK managing director, Lee Gregory, discusses his company’s plans for the show.

IG: What are the benefits of exhibiting at the Bookmakers’ Trade Fair and what type of clients/market segments are you aiming to meet with? LG: BOS is the leading event for independent bookmakers in the UK. It is an excellent opportunity to meet with current and prospective independent bookmakers. Inspired is the UK’s leading supplier of Virtual Sports, SBG B2/B3 gaming machines and premium HD games to the UK LBO industry. It supplies terminals and games to corporate customers and over 100 independent bookmakers across the UK. In the last year Inspired has strengthened its position within the independent sector by signing a number of partnerships with some of the UK’s leading independent bookmakers, many of which were following meetings at BOS.

What will be the key products you’ll be focusing on at the event this year and what do they offer? Storm is one of the UK’s highest income gaming machines for the independent sector and boasts a library of popular games. At BOS, Inspired will be showcasing its new titles for 2014, including Wild Dollars, 100-1 Roulette and Dragon Bet roulette, as well as Fortune Spins games such as White Knight and Goddess of the Amazon, which give players more improved features for their money.

In your opinion, in which areas of the bookmaking business are we seeing the most growth? Inspired is seeing huge growth in the Virtual Sports sector, driven by the growth in virtual football, across all platforms. It is also seeing growth in B3, following significant investment in this area and the launch of a number of new games, which have been received incredibly well by the independent sector.

Inspired is also leading the charge for providing independents with responsible gambling software. Thanks to Inspired’s Open SBG/VLT Core technology, new responsible gaming software can be deployed quickly via the network, and operators and regulators can segment data by any criteria, for example by game, machine, player, average stake and time on device. Having launched the Code of Conduct responsible gambling time and spend limits in March 2014, Inspired is working with the UK government and the bookmaking industry to develop additional player protection measures, which are due to be launched in 2015.
