Shuffle Master has appointed Omega Gaming as a distributor for South Africa.
Shuffle Master and Omega Gaming successfully partnered for four years until Shuffle Master opened its own office in Midrand, South Africa, in 2008. “Having our own office here gave us the opportunity to learn more about the South African market. In addition to our card shuffling machines, we also successfully established our chip sorting machines, proprietary table games and progressive table game system in the market,” said Axel Grohs, designated managing director of Shuffle Master Europe.
“We recently re-evaluated the cost effectiveness of our supply chain and the service support for South Africa and believe that returning to our distributor relationship will best serve our needs and also establish a structure that can comply with the local business regulatory requirements.”
