UK-based computer solutions firm Quixant will be exhibiting at the ELA show in Mexico City, Mexico, on May 4-5 at the Banamex exhibition centre.

Commenting on the company’s debut as an exhibitor, Gary Mullins, sales director, said: "The Latin American market is becoming increasingly important to Quixant and we have considerable benefits to bring to machine manufacturers in the region.

"Quixant is unique in providing complete solutions for gaming that combine outstanding performance, low power consumption and low cost, all essential requirements for success in this region. Our complete package of gaming protocols, including SAS6.02, matched to our highly optimised hardware, is very attractive to both smaller and multinational companies."

Quixant’s newest innovation is the QXi-200 and this will be the highlight of the company’s stand at the show.

"Based on AMD’s latest Fusion APU technology it delivers outstanding HD6310 DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.1 dual screen graphics performance," Mullins explained. "It is a compact, all-in-one solution for slot machines and provides the best range of features for customers, giving Quixant a clear lead over competing products."

Quixant will also be demonstrating its QXi-106 JAMMA platform and QX-30 high-end platform. The company’s range of platforms all share a common software API, enabling a wide range of different markets to be easily targeted with one software base, from bar machines all the way to major casinos.
