G2E Las Vegas was a major success for Novomatic, the Austrian gaming giant said.

The company saw an upswing in visitors and tangible business from across all the Americas. The Austrian Gaming Industries team was joined on the booth by its counterparts from across Latin America, including AGI Argentina, AGI Gaming Colombia, Crown Gaming Mexico and Crown Gaming Paraguay, as well as Reel Games of Florida, which is to introduce the Novomatic brand across the US.
The company showed an extensive range of product at the event, with the majority of its games presented on the slant top Novostar SL and its latest upright cabinet Super-V+ Gaminator III.
Among the games on display was the Premium-V+ Gaminator multigame mix comprising 41 Coolfire II games set in five colour-coded categories: Classic Lines, Multi-Lines, Power Lines, Fruits and Specials.
On the jackpots side, Novomatic demonstrated its new Magic Joker Jackpot, a card-animated multi-level progressive mystery jackpot – and a new game with an innovative skill feature.
“The Las Vegas show is traditionally one of the most important events of the annual show calendar and particularly now with this earlier and generally more convenient October date we expected to see a great number of business partners, customers and also new contacts in Las Vegas,” said Jens Halle, managing director of AGI. “I have to say that we were not disappointed.
“As we move ahead in intensifying our commitment to the US and Latin American regions, I am extremely encouraged by the customer response that we saw in Las Vegas. All of our team, as well as our Latin American subsidiary representatives, our colleagues from Octavian and our US partner Reel Games, reported many new contacts and business possibilities. Our task now is to follow up and ensure that these possibilities become realities and so strongly enhance Novomatic’s position across a wide range of markets.”
