The recent opening of Aspers' £10m casino and leisure venue in the city centre of Northampton, UK, has, according to the operator, started to transform the area into a stylish entertainment spot.

The fourth casino in the group has taken over the 40,000sq.ft site on Commercial Street, originally the site of the Albion Brewery and more recently the home of Northampton Auction Galleries since 1982.

The casino has been designed to resemble the former brewery, which was demolished to make way for the new building, with its design incorporating many key features of the old building.

The casino offers £4,000 slot machines, electronic roulettes, a 60-seat capacity poker room and 16 gaming tables.

Damian Aspinall, chief executive officer of Aspers Group, said: "Working closely with our construction partners, we’ve created a world of entertainment that will offer something for everyone."
