Voters in Missouri, US, are set to have their say on a proposed new casino for the Lake of the Ozarks as part of November’s ballot.

The proposal, if voted for, would amend the Missouri Constitution and allow a casino to be built along the Osage River between Bagnell Dam and the confluence with the Missouri River.

There were doubts as to whether the proposal would get on the ballot after the Osage River Gaming & Convention Committee said it was aware of over 2,500 valid signatures for it that were rejected.

However, as reported by the Associated Press, Cole County Circuit Judge Daniel Green ruled that the casino campaign gathered enough votes to make it onto the ballot.
