Intralot has been awarded by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during a solemn ceremony held yesterday, at the Athens Concert Hall.

The company has received the Research, Innovations, and Technological Development Award, which is attributed to companies that emphasise on research and development, considering it as the crucial part of their business process.

The President of the Hellenic Republic, Karolos Papoulias, attended the ceremony, while the Greek prime minister, Konstantinos Karamanlis, extended the speech.

The award was presented to Constantinos Antonopoulos, chief executive officer of Intralot, by minister of development, Christos Folias.

Commenting on the award, Antonopoulos said: "Our dedication to offering the most innovative technological solutions to our clients has been acknowledged by the business community and we are determined to continue to strive for adding value to the gaming sector with commitment, integrity and responsibility."
