It is vital that operators in emerging markets follow the latest trends in gaming technology, particularly when it comes to management systems, Zlatko Waiss of Advansys said.

Waiss told InterGaming that in order to develop such markets further, it is "all the more important" to implement the latest customer loyalty technology. Those who follow trends elsewhere are at an advantage, he said.

"They don’t have to test new technology and invest in risky investments," he said. "They know the impact and benefits. Otherwise they will never catch the development phase of the modern market."
