For the three months to September 30, the group recorded record revenues totalling €740.9m, compared to €552.2m in the third quarter of 2010, up 34.2 per cent. Product sale revenues grew 35.8 per cent to €53m.

EBITDA, meanwhile, was €237m in the third quarter, up 18.7 per cent compared with €199.7m in the same period last year.

Revenues at Spielo International, however, fell from €59.8m in the third quarter last year, to €45.6m. This, the company said, could be attributed to product sale cyclicality.

Marco Sala, Lottomatica’s CEO, said the company was “encouraged” by the positive trends in the group’s business fundamentals.
