Gaming revenue at Chile's 15 casinos fell significantly in February, the Superintendence of Casinos of Chile said.

In February, gross gaming win totalled $35.52m, down 8.55 per cent on the $38.84m recorded in January. This fall in gaming win was attributed to a 14.4 per cent drop in the number of people visiting casinos and a slight decrease in the average spend per head.

Monticello Grand Casino has the largest share of the market with 28.1 per cent of total gross gaming income, followed by Marina del Sol with 11.8 per cent and Casino Rinconada with 10.4 per cent.
