Caesars Entertainment has made a powerful move in its campaign to win an IR licence in Japan by establishing a three-person “Japan Advisory Committee” filled with heavyweights of the US-Japan alliance.
They are former US Senate majority leader Tom Daschle, former US trade representative Charlene Barshefsky and Kara Bue of Armitage International. Senator Daschle commented: “I’m excited to join the Caesars team because, as the industry’s pioneer and chief champion of responsible gaming, I know they will bring the thoughtful and family-oriented approach that Japan is looking for during this important time.” Steven Tight, Caesars’ president of international development, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome such a distinguished and experienced group of global leaders to our team.
