Big revenue rise in Macau

Macau’s gross gaming and gambling revenues totalled US$27.6bn for the first 10 months of the year.

This represented a 54.4 per cent increase on the $18.6bn reported for the same period last year. October’s revenues were $3.3bn, which was 42.3 per cent higher than October 2010.

There are now 34 casinos in Macau. Twenty of those are owned by SJM, five by Galaxy, three by Melco and one each by Wynn and MGM.
