888 has passed its first certification process with the Amministrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato (AAMS), the Italian regulatory authority.

The certificate will enable 888 and its independent B2B division Dragonfish to offer its gaming solutions to customers and partners in the booming Italian market in the upcoming months.

The offering includes Dragonfish’s Total Gaming Services solution, which offers partners a turnkey gaming operation, as well as the CasinoFlex product. CasinoFlex will enable Dragonfish partners to use its casino gaming suite, together with complementary marketing tools, whilst using its own back office and wallet. Dragonfish has already engaged with Italian partners, such as Microgame, Gioco Digitale/bwin.it and King.com, for the deployment of its CasinoFlex, with several more deals imminent.

Itai Frieberger, 888’s chief operation officer, commented: "We have been active under the Italian online regulated regime over the past few years and we are looking forward to further bolstering our gaming proposition through our 888.it operation, as well as through our Dragonfish powered partners. We welcome new opportunities to grow our market share as Italy becomes increasingly active."
