Strobe Poker, a fast-fold poker variation which benefits from the pooled liquidity of the Ongame Network, has been launched by RedKings.com.
Richard Owens, new product manager at RedKings.com, said: "Strobe is much faster poker because you literally have new opponents for every new hand. Fold your hand and you are moved immediately to a new table with all the other players in the pool who have folded as well.
"Fast-fold, or speed poker, has developed into a hugely successful derivative in its own right which industry observers now claim is around 30 per cent of the revenues generated in cash games.”
To promote the new game, RedKings’ $15,000 Strobe Challenge kicks off on March 11, offering players the chance to win a ticket to a $2,500 free roll. Players finishing in the top 500 on the race leaderboard will scoop a share of $12,500.
Strobe is also available on smartphone and tablet Android devices.
