In 2016, the Kindred Group handled six billion financial transactions from customers, the same amount of transactions as the worldwide digital payment platform PayPal.
Offering a safe and secure technical platform based on 150 microservices, with the ability to support the ever-increasing demand from customers, is a key objective for the company. Last year, its platform averaged 16 million financial transactions per day and managed over 2,000 releases with zero planned downtime, meaning an improved customer experience and no negative impact for its customers.
Marcus Smedman, chief technology officer at Kindred Group, said: “Our customers trust us with their money, which is a great show of faith. We take this responsibility very seriously and have invested greatly in building a platform that not only offers a unique customer experience, but also a secure and swift transaction system.”
