Gambling is illegal in Vietnam, other than the state-run lottery and a handful of foreigner-only casinos.
Earlier this week, five were arrested Ho Chi Minh City and one more in Hanoi, police said.
According to official police newspaper Cong An Nhan Dan, the gang was behind a betting website launched in 2015 and run from the Philippines.
