Dafabet will be the Welsh Premier League’s headline sponsor for the 2015/16 season.
League secretary Gwyn Derfel said: “I am very pleased that Dafabet has become headline sponsor for our national league in Wales.
"Dafabet’s increasing portfolio of partnerships with major players in the sporting world shows the faith in our ever-improving product.”
Dafabet already has a strong presence in football, having been main club sponsor of this year’s FA Cup finalists Aston Villa for the last two seasons. It continues to have a long-term betting partnership with Everton FC, a partnership recently extended for a further three seasons, and the online sportsbook is also the new main club sponsor of both Premier League club Sunderland and Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers, as well as becoming international partners of Scottish champions Celtic.
John Cruces, head of sports marketing and sponsorship at Dafabet, said: "Having increased our presence in English football for the forthcoming season as well as forming our first partnership in Scottish football, it made sense for us to explore the opportunity to make an impact in Welsh football when the league sponsorship option was presented to us.”
