Crane Payment Innovations’ new SCR note recycler is performing well on trial within the German AWP market, the company has claimed.

CPI has expanded the SC product line with the new SCR, which boasts a number of security-related features designed with the German AWP market in mind. These include a removable anti-stringing module to prevent mechanical manipulation.

“We can’t be more excited about what SCR can offer our customers,” said Eric Fisher, president - gaming. “It is reminiscent of when Cashflow SC was introduced in 2002 and re-established a baseline for the key performance metrics that now define a note acceptor (acceptance rate, jam rate, security and cost of operation).

“SCR will do the same for two-denomination note recycling.”

The initial SCR field trial has been expanded, based upon positive feedback from its performance. Beta testing is to begin shortly.

“SCR will be a testament to the knowledge CPI owns as a company and our commitment to incorporate that expertise into a better performing product,” Fisher added.
