US manufacturer Valley-Dynamo has introduced the new Panther (mechanical) and Panther ZD-X (electronic) pool tables. Responding to both operators' and tournament players' requests, both tables are set up to accept international currencies and power sources.

From a playability standpoint, the Panther line showcases a smooth, new flush mounted corner casting with countersunk pocket liners. A redesigned new five-bolt cushion rail system (patent pending) that eliminates the small dead spots found behind the rail bolts and allows Championship’s exclusive dual-density cushion rubber to perform at its best has also been introduced.

According to Valley-Dynamo, operators will also love the pricing flexibility that takes the Panther ZD-X beyond the capabilities of the Valley Great 8. With more than a million different potential pricing options available each week, the Panther ZD-X gives operators a wide choice of bonuses, happy hours, time play and rack play.

While other electronic pool tables vend the balls, the Panther ZD-X brings new capabilities to international markets that are hoped will increase the operator’s revenues. With three different bonus levels and four different happy hour pricing options available daily, the operator can custom tune each table to its location to realise the maximum amount of play.

Detailed accounting capabilities are added to show which pricing strategies were the most popular with players and how effective the pricing strategies are compared with traffic flow in the location. Operators can easily print out the accounting to a hand-held printer or download it to a thumb drive for careful analysis.
