Technical fault leads to operator’s fine

Sweden’s gaming regulator has issued a warning and an SEK2m (€187,460) fine on AB Trav och Galopp (ATG) for failures in its self-exclusion function.

Users logging in with a mobile bank ID when using the ATG platform were unable to access the self-exclusion function due to a technical problem that occurred in connection with an update of the log-in system.

ATG therefore violated the provisions of the country’s Gaming Ordinance.
