Stakelogic sets its Manimals slot in a dystopian world where humans have been replaced with animals fighting for dominance.
The 5x4 slot with 32,768 ways to win sees a cascade triggered and each winning position replaced by two symbols when wins occur.
Either a Mega Stack or Epic Stack can drop onto either one reel or two reels, respectively, with the character taking the form of a stacked symbol.
Elsewhere, the Quake modifier sees one of the top five paying symbols land in front of the reels, removing all of the low-paying symbols and causing new symbols to drop from above.
And in the Blaster Disaster feature, a grenade symbol removes all connecting symbols and causes a new cascade sequence.
Landing three or more bonus symbols triggers the free spins round, where players are taken to the Manimals Battle Arena. Here, pay ways will not reset between spins and all wilds remain.
Stakelogic’s head of account management Daniela Fricchione said Manimals achieves the company’s aim of “looking for new ways to push boundaries, both thematically and in terms of gameplay.”
She added: “We also have to tilt our hats to our graphic department. They have worked tirelessly and done an unbelievable job of bringing this unique vision to life. We are excited to see the first reactions to the game.”
