The new game, which will be released later this year, follows the recent launch of the film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. The current movie has delivered more than US$676m in global box office.

Henrik Fagerlund, chief product officer at NetEnt, said: “Being able to secure a deal for another high-profile title showcases the moves we’re making in diversifying our roster of games.”

Jumanji adds to NetEnt’s branded games portfolio alongside the likes of Planet of the Apes, Guns N’ Roses and Motörhead Video Slot.
