Light & Wonder’s Lightning Box studio has released 5x4-configured slot Smash Nudge Skillstar.
A free games round offers players up to 20 free games while also exhibiting a multiplier wheel which multiplies prizes up to 10x.
Elsewhere, a wild nudge can move adjacent symbols off the grid and allow more wilds to fill the reels.
Players must land three, four or five scatter symbols to enter the free games round and these scatters can retrigger to set up more free rounds.
The Skillstar feature tasks players with obtaining the highest score on the leaderboard by dodging opposing players and oil spills, and collecting gold trophies.
Smash Nudge Skillstar is at first available to Kindred and 32 Red in Europe and the UK before being made available elsewhere.
Michael Maokhamphiou, operations manager at Lightning Box, said the free games round is “distinctive” and that the aesthetics of the game go “hand-in-hand” with the “thrilling gameplay.”
Rob Procter, VP of game development at Light & Wonder, backed the game to “make a really big impact with players across the globe.”
