Specialist slots supplier Lightning Box has added to its portfolio of games with the release of latest title, Five Pirates.
This game. popular in the Asian online market and South American land-based venues, is now available to European online audiences via the NYX OGS.
The four-by-five reel slot, which features 1,024 different ways to win, combines an engaging soundtrack with a presentation that fills the reels with skull-and-crossbones, cannons and the game’s titular heroes.
All the symbols pay left-to-right, while the scatter symbol triggers the game’s unique “Hold-n-Spin” bonus round.

Activated when two to four scatter symbols appear left to right, it covers each reel where the symbol appears with an ancient scroll, re-spinning the uncovered reels up to three times to uncover more scatter symbols.
If all the reels are covered the player will enter the Five Pirates Bonus Round and be whisked away to choose from one of five bonuses. This lets them try for up to 15 free games, or a big multiplier up to 15x stake.
