Armadillo Studios has set its new 1849 Gold Bonanza to the backdrop of the California Gold Rush.
The Wild Transformation feature turns regular symbols into wilds, triggered by the opening of the saloon doors above the reels.
Landing three or more scatters in the base game grants up to 20 free spins in the dedicated round. In this mode, an empty meter of whisky glasses appears above the reels and can be filled by wilds. Each filled glass grants additional spins and increases the game’s multiplier up to 20x.
Players can also activate the Golden Nugget Cash Prizes during both the base game and free spins. Each Gold Nugget symbol is a cash prize that can be multiplied on the same spin by wilds.
David Stoveld, COO of EveryMatrix’s in-house studio Armadillo Studios, said the supplier wanted to “capture the excitement” of the US gold rush with 1849 Gold Bonanza.
