Yggdrasil is expanding its services into Sweden after being awarded a licence by the Swedish regulator.
Spelinspektionen has made gaming software permits a mandatory requirement, with new regulation coming into force on July 1.
Yggdrasil can now offer its games portfolio to licensed operators in Sweden.
Peter Envall, general counsel and chief legal and compliance officer at Yggdrasil, said Sweden is one of the company’s “core markets,” with Yggdrasil maintaining a “clear regulatory strategy focus” and “very close relationships with our locally regulated operators.”
