The move marks the 20th regulated market entry for Wazdan and allows the company to partner with AGCO-approved operators, supplying its content in the jurisdiction. The igaming market in Ontario opened up on April 4.

This concludes a process that dates back to April 2019, when Ontario’s government announced plans to end Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s monopoly on igaming, opening up the market to private operators.

Wazdan will now enjoy an even greater foothold in North America, having already secured licences in the US states of Michigan, New Jersey and West Virginia.
