Wag.io, a compliance software provider to the industry, has announced a rebranding to reflect the company's shift into an all-encompassing, fully managed affiliate compliance solution.

The new Mitigatr reflects the changes from being a simple technology provider to providing tech-enabled solutions that offer end-to-end services for its roster of operator clients.

The team behind Mitigatr claims that this has arisen from affiliate compliance no longer being the simple, tick-box exercise that might have applied five or so years ago.

Today, affiliate compliance is tricky, comprehensive and time-consuming, and requires an "outside of the box" approach that Mitigatr now provides.

Astan Morarji, an igaming lawyer and co-founder at Mitigatr, said: "Igaming businesses are facing dauntingly complex tasks in respect to affiliate compliance, with a need to execute compliance strategies across multiple channels using advanced technologies. Unfortunately, many brands have been vulnerable without a coordinated approach, something which we are changing.

"Our vision has been to develop the talent, capabilities and assets of our company, including our people and our technology, so that we are one step ahead of affiliate compliance initiatives in the market.

"Our company has developed a comprehensive solution for all needs of our clients to ensure their compliance. In addition, we have consolidated all these resources under a revitalised, clean-cut brand.

"The best way to understand the impact of Mitigatr is by hearing from our satisfied clients. Their success is underpinned by various techniques such as cutting-edge data and our engaged compliance team."
