Operators Wildblaster and BetUS have been blocked by the Australian Communications and Media Authority after they were found to be in breach of regulations.

ACMA

The ACMA says the two websites breached the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 and the latest action takes the number of websites blocked by the authority since 2019 to 863.

A further 218 illegal services have withdrawn from the Australian market since the ACMA’s enforcement began, it said.

The ACMA blocks websites if it finds they provide prohibited online gaming services, do not have a licence or publish adverts for prohibited operations.
