OpenBet has announced that Jeremy Thompson-Hill has been appointed chief executive officer with immediate effect. Thompson-Hill succeeds David Loveday who left the role on March 8, 2013.

Thompson-Hill had previously been the company’s chief operating officer, having joined the company in 1999 and working in a sales and operational capacity before being promoted to COO in 2008. He has been credited with strengthening key customer relationships and has been instrumental in the expansion of OpenBet’s global operation adding offices in Europe, Australia and North America.  

Ian Riley, a managing partner of Vitruvian and chairman of OpenBet, said: “With Jeremy’s knowledge and track record in the business, he is ideally suited to the position.
