Tennessee sports betting handle rises 36.5%

Sports betting in Tennessee generated handle of US$381.8m in May, up 36.5 per cent year-on-year.

While total bets rose from $279.8m in May 2023, the latest figure dropped 0.6 per cent month-on-month from April’s $384.2m.

Subsequent tax collections in the Volunteer State amounted to $7m, down 2.1 per cent year-on-year from $7.1m in May 2023.

Tax collections were also down month-on-month by 0.4 per cent.
