The Swedish Gaming Authority has stepped up its efforts to monitor suspected match-fixing by holding meetings with Sportradar and the UK Gambling Commission.

Sportradar offered a presentation on the trends in match-fixing both globally and in Sweden.
The meeting with the UK regulator, meanwhile, saw the two regulators exchange experiences on game regulation with a particular focus on match-fixing.
The UKGC explained its work managing sports betting integrity and match-fixing and the bodies discussed efforts to clamp down on the illegal market.
Patrik Gustavsson, head of the operational department at the Gambling Inspectorate, said: “In this way, exchanging experiences with authorities in other countries is an important part of the work to create good conditions for a healthy and safe gambling market.”
The Swedish authority also shared its work on mandatory deposit limits and gambling responsibility, amid upcoming UK white paper consultations.
