The third quarter of 2021 has seen sales among online gaming companies holding a Swedish licence rising by nearly five per cent.

They had sales of SEK6.4bn (bets minus winnings), or €623.8m, reports the country’s gaming inspectorate Svenska Spel.
It added that 65,500 people had been suspended for gambling via Spelpaus.se during the year. This was up just over two per cent in the quarter.
There are 95 companies in Sweden with active gambling licences as of September 2021. Of these 65 were licensed for betting and/or commercial online gambling.
