Betsson’s third quarter saw strong development thanks to high customer activity, the company has reported.
A record operating profit is expected to be in the range of €37.5 to €39m, said the company, with the preliminary sportsbook margin reaching 8.3 per cent.
That sportsbook impetus is driving the company forward, it said, along with casino action. Revenue is expected to be in the range of €199 tok €201m, against €170m last year.
Said the company: “The sportsbook continues to develop into a more important part of the total business for Betsson, thanks to investments to strengthen the product in recent years and geographical expansion to several new markets.
"The preliminary sportsbook margin was 8.3 per cent for the quarter, which is at the same level as in the previous two quarters in 2022, but somewhat higher than the average of the past eight quarters of approximately 7.7 per cent.”
