The restart of sporting events has helped Scout Gaming to improve dramatically its third quarter revenues.

The fantasy sports provider, operating mainly in Scandinavia and the Ukraine, saw revenues up 85 per cent to SEK15m (€1.4m).
The company said in a statement: “The group had a stable quarater with sharply increasing revenues, led by the restart of global sports. The speed of recovery exceeded management’s expectations. The global fantasy sports market for real money gambling outside the US is, however, still in its infancy.”
It said that the number of active players in its network had increased by 117 per cent over the same period of the previous year. “We continue to see strong prospects for the European market for sports in general and for fantasy sports in particular.”
