Total gaming revenue in New Jersey in September climbed by 7.5 per cent year-on-year, the US state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement has said.

The US$521.5m figure means the total gaming revenue for the year-to-date has reached $4.29bn, up 10.8 per cent on this time last year.
Igaming and sports betting led the overall growth, with revenue in the respective divisions growing by 21.1 per cent and 13.4 per cent to $163.8m and $111.1m.
And while casino revenue for the nine casino hotel properties dropped 2.1 per cent in September from $251.7m to $246.5m, the year-to-date revenue figure is up 1.8 per cent on this time last year, at $2.17bn.
