Sportradar has been selected as the official technology and services solution provider by the Taiwan Sports Lottery after an international tender process.

The company is to form part of the consortium that will operate the Taiwan Sports Lottery from 2024 until 2033.
Sportradar’s ORAKO solution will be implemented across more than 2,600 retail outlets in Taiwan as well as across web and mobile channels.
The technology will power the Lottery with a range of offerings including ORAKO Sports Betting and Player Manangement Platform and Managed Trading Services. Sportradar has put together a team in Taipei to provide operational support and expertise alongside the Lottery’s members on the ground.
Carsten Korea, CEO at Sportradar, said the company is “well placed to operate as part of a successful consortium for the Taiwan Sports Lottery,” adding Sportradar is looking to deliver a “high quality and consistent experience.”
Ted Lin, President of Taiwan Sports Lottery Company, said Sportradar has a “full suite of technological solutions” to help it “redefine the sports betting experience.”
The consortium is formed of ADATA Technology as the licence holder, Taiwan Sports Lottery Company as the operator and China Trust Bank. The consortium was awarded the third Sports Lottery Licence issued by the Taiwan Government’s Sports Administration in December 2022.
