Sportradar has been selected as the successful bidder for exclusive global audio, video and betting data rights for the South American Confederation.

The agreement with Conmebol will cover the men’s and women’s Conmebol Libertadores, Conmebol Sudamericana and Conmebol Recopa football competitions for the next four seasons.
It is also an extension of the partnership between the governing body of 10 national football associations in South America and Sportradar, which has supplied the body with compliance, risk and governance services via its Intelligence & Investigations unit since 2019.
Carsten Koerl, global CEO at Sportradar, said the company is now able to further support the “most historic club tournaments in South America,” adding that Sportradar’s “expertise and industry relationships” can help Conmebol expand its reach.
José Astigarraga, Conmebol Secretary General, said: “We are sure that the prestigious Conmebol club tournaments, with more than 60 years of history, will be a great showcase to be able to get closer to the true fans of South American football.”
