Sportradar has struck an agreement in Brazil to collaborate with the Ministry of Finance on sports betting and gaming integrity.

The company’s partnership with the Ministry’s Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA) aims to support the SPA’s technical staff to roll out the authorisation, inspection and sanctioning process for online operators.
Sportradar’s Integrity Services will be at the heart of the Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) by reporting any suspicious incidents and providing strategic advice to address such situations.
Sportradar said it will offer education and training for SPA staff to better monitor match-fixing in Brazil.
The Ministry of Finance spokesperson responsible for the partnership, Régis Dudena, Secretary of Prizes and Betting, said: “The partnership with Sportradar will be an important tool to combat a major threat to the fixed-odds betting market, which is the risk of manipulation of sports results.”
Felippe Marchetti, Sportradar’s manager for integrity partnerships in Brazil, said the ACT “reflects a mutual commitment to establish a sustainable, regulated sports betting industry in Brazil that is built upon a foundation of integrity.”
