Sportradar Solutions, the company’s US sports betting subsidiary, will take its place in the legal and regulated market, which is set to launch on Monday.

The licence, issued on February 28, is valid for five years.

Sportradar now hold 56 licences, or equivalent, in North America across states, territories, tribes and Canada.

The news in North Carolina comes after Sportradar partnered with the United Soccer League to drive fan engagement.

Sportradar will apply data and audiovisual products for North America’s largest professional soccer organisation.

As the USL’s official betting and technology partner, the company now collects, licenses and distributes USL’s betting and media data.

The deal, spanning six years, covers more than 600 USL matches per year across all three USL professional leagues and the USL Super League set to launch in August.

Eric Conrad, EVP, Strategic Partnerships, US & LatAm at Sportradar, said: “Sportradar's comprehensive products and solutions will enable USL to capitalise on opportunities across betting, media and fan engagement, driving value for all stakeholders.

“This partnership strengthens our global portfolio of soccer rights, as we can leverage the data to develop highly innovative products and move up the value chain with our clients.”

USL CCO Court Jeske added: “This partnership demonstrates a step forward in the betting and technology space for USL’s Men’s and Women’s professional leagues, and we are proud to grow with Sportradar – a leader in the business – as we have since 2018.”
