Full service mobile gambling solutions provider Spin3 has announced its entry into the sports betting market with a new sportsbook app.

SpinSport is a pure native app specifically designed for mobile devices including the iPhone, iPod and iPad.

The app is powered by a sportsbook engine from Sports Betting Tech and will first launch under the 10Bet brand on the Apple App store in Q1 2011. SpinSport will be available as a white label product to existing online sportsbooks who want to seamlessly extend their offering to mobile, as well as to online and mobile egaming operators who are keen to provide their customers with a mobile sports betting platform.

Features include smart personalisation based on the player’s betting history and full banking and cashier functionality, as well as quick navigation, live betting across a wide range of sporting events and GPS location to ensure players are wagering from an authorised location.

Head of Spin3 Matti Zinder commented: "We have applied all of the experience we have accumulated in mobile handset technology, interface design, usability and back-office technology in the development of SpinSport to create the most advanced mobile sports betting solution available today.

"The rapid increase in the use of smartphones has led to amazing growth in mobile sports betting. In fact, Juniper Research recently estimated that mobile betting represented more than 75 per cent of mobile gaming activity. Not only is there a big opportunity in sports betting, the move to mobile is a natural evolution and extension for any egaming company."

Ron Zlluf, marketing director of Sports Betting Tech, added: "Mobile sports betting is the fastest growing mobile channel globally. This growth, along with an unprecedented rise and mass market adoption of smartphones, means that it was crucial for us to deliver a cutting-edge mobile sportsbook product to our white labels."
